The tines themselves give a working-width of 46cm and have been heat-treated for extra strength.nnDriving MTD T450 Rear Tine-Tiller is fitted with a seriously powerful 205cc Briggs & Stratton 900 series engine, which, thanks to its overhead-valve design, you’ll find clean-burning; ultra-reliable; and impressively fuel-efficient. As you’d expect from a B & S power-unit, starting is fast and consistently dependable.nnThe chain & gear-driven transmission on this model is oil-bathed and housed within a permanently sealed casing, so year after year of unfailing, maintenance-free service is assured. The provision of a reverse gear aids manoeuvrability, as do the individually engageable wheels.nnAdditional features include a front-mounted counterweight for optimum balance; and a height-adjustable handlebar, which makes it possible to achieve the perfect operating position.
